Up against district foes Abbeville, they left nothing up to chance as they bulldozed the Wildcats for an unforgettable 40-12 victory on Friday, Nov. 7, wrapping up their first 10-0 start ever.
“It’s special, it’s something that’s never been done before and my mom almost cried last week and she’s over here crying now trying to make me cry,” Erath coach Eric LeBlanc said. “Im proud and I’m glad I was born and raised here in Erath because this is special, but we still got a lot of work to do.”
