CLARKSTON, MI — It was a battle of two Division 1 juggernauts.
Scoring on all seven of its drives against Grand Blanc (10-1) on Friday at Clarkston High School, the Wolves (10-1) made it everyone’s night as they cruised to a 44-22 win in the district championship.
Clarkston junior quarterback Alex Waszczenko was the leader of the pack, tallying three total touchdowns with two rushing and one passing.
It’s not the ending Grand Blanc pictured entering the matchup unbeaten and with state finals expectations, but it doesn’t discredit all the success the senior class has brought to the program.
