Furious residents claim their lives have been 'ruined' after a massive 100ft (30m) mobile phone mast was put up at the end of their gardens, now looming over their homes.

People living on Hurcott Road in Kidderminster , Worcestershire , say the enormous 5G mast is 'driving them insane' due to a constant humming noise audible inside their properties round the clock.

Homeowners are also concerned for their safety and worry they could be injured or even killed if the giant mast were to topple during strong winds.

The 'eyesore' structure and generator sits just 6ft (1.8m) from their garden boundaries and is secured by concrete blocks and chains.
