Jack Fitzgerald tallied three rushing touchdowns and scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime as third-seeded New Providence took down second-seeded Hasbrouck Heights, 28-21, in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA/Xfinity North Jersey Section 2, Group 1 Tournament in Hasbrouck Heights.

In the first quarter, Hasbrouck Heights went for a 23-yard field goal and dunked it off the right goal post as the game remained scoreless.
