It was another week with its back against the wall for Louisiana football as it hosts Texas State in Week 11 of college football.
With only three games left in the season and the Ragin’ Cajuns (4-6, 3-3 SBC) needed three more wins to secure bowl eligibility, and tonight it snagged one of those three. In a back-and-forth momentum battle with the Bobcats , the Cajuns came out on top, sneaking away with a 42-39 victory.
Since UL and Texas State first started facing off back in 2013, the Cajuns have had the Bobcats' number, beating them in every matchup. This go-round, sophomore quarterback Lunch Winfield helped keep the winning streak and postseason hope alive. After his most efficient game in the air, Winfield and company brought the aerial show to Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium.
