A 65-year-old man died after falling 130 feet from the western side of the Grand Canyon.
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue department recovered the man's body on Thursday, Nov. 6. Officials said in a statement that the man slipped and fell over the edge.
The MCSO's Search and Rescue team assisted the Hualapai Nation in recovering his body 130 feet down on a pile of rocks. The man's body was located near Guano Point.
