New Delhi: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, among several senior officials, had been accused of committing genocide during the ongoing war in Gaza. Turkey’s Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in Istanbul had issued an arrest warrant against the Israeli Prime Minister on Friday, November 7.
After the accusation, the Istanbul Criminal Court approved the warrants. The Turkish authorities have been investigating the Israeli military operations in Gaza since 2023, resulting in thousands of civilian deaths and the destruction of the infrastructure.
