Adil Ray has reportedly been hauled in by bosses after appearing to back Sharia law in New York after mayor Zohran Mamdani’s win. Good Morning Britain host Adil Ray has allegedly been hauled in by managers.

It comes after he referred to Sharia Law in a social media post about New York's new Muslim mayor Zohran Mamdani. The ITV host and BBC Citizen Khan star is understood to have attended the meeting yesterday.

It came just one day after he posted his message about Mamdani’s election win. Mr Ray wrote on X: "Some say Mamdani may implement Sharia Law. He might. The heart of Sharia is social justice, welfare, fairness, charity and cohesion.
