A man has been charged with carrying out a sex act in front of a child and exposing himself near a Birmingham Park.

Police were called to reports of a man allegedly indecently exposing himself in Slingfield Road, close to West Heath Park in Northfield at around 8am on Wednesday (November 5).

A 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.

Now Alieu Jabang, aged 22, from Rednal Mill Drive in Longbridge has been charged with committing a sex act in the presence of a young child, aged under 13 and indecent exposure.

He was set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday (November 7).
