A man has been found dead in a block of flats in Glasgow's west end as nearby homes were evacuated by police on Friday (November 7) evening.
Emergency services rushed to the Jordanhill area at approximately 6pm, after reports of a death at a property in Randolph Gate.
Officers, fire appliances, and paramedic teams attended the scene as a 38-year-old man was found dead inside one of the flats.
As a safety measure, police confirmed the building was cleared for a "short time" with locals stating they were kept outside for roughly three hours, reports the Daily Record .
Authorities have since confirmed that there was no danger to the broader community and occupants were allowed to return to their properties the same evening.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
