OCRACOKE, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Ocracoke Express Passenger Ferry celebrated its best year since 2022, with over 18,000 passengers enjoying the service during its 2025 season.

The ferry offers a convenient 65-minute trip between Hatteras and Ocracoke's Silver Lake Harbor, carrying up to 129 passengers per trip.

By bypassing vehicle lines, visitors can head straight into the village to explore its shops, restaurants, and attractions.
