EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville Animal Care and Control is closed Saturday while an investigation into a break-in is underway.
According to a Facebook post, the break-in happened overnight and one dog was taken.
Officials also say all the animals and staff are safe following the break-in.
Crews are working to secure the building before reopening to the public.
Officials say the break-in is currently under investigation, and the building will reopen on Monday.
