GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A bicyclist is dead after a crash in Glendale on Friday night.

Around 11 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the area of 59th Ave and McLellan Road , just south of Glendale Avenue, on reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.

When police arrived, they found that a bicyclist was actually involved and had died before they arrived. The bicyclist has not yet been identified.

The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with detectives, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Detectives are unsure if the driver was impaired and say the investigation is ongoing.
