MEDINA, Ohio – Newcomer Ed Isabella will join council next year, filling an at-large position and incumbent Regi Haire will retain her seat in Ward 3.
According to final but unofficial results from the Medina County Board of Elections Isabella received 2,703 votes (52.67 percent) in the race for council at large while Skip Sipos received 2,429 votes (47.33 percent).
Isabella said he is looking forward to working with council to solve the city’s sidewalk repair and traffic issues.
“It was clear from talking to voters that those were issues they want to see progress on, as well as implementing a DORA for the city,” he said. “For the voters, I want to thank them for putting their trust in me to be their councilman.
