LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead early Saturday.

Shortly after 5:30 a.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of West Markham Street, where they found 30-year-old William Pritchard unresponsive.

Despite medical aid, Pritchard died from his injuries at the scene.

Police said 31-year-old Derek Kennedy was arrested after questioning and faces a first-degree murder charge.
