LINCOLN, Neb. (KTIV) - The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls are the runner-ups in this year’s Class C2 Volleyball Tournament. In the championship finals, they lost to the Freeman Falcons 3-1.
The Bears faced off against the Falcons on Saturday at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
The Falcons won the first set 25-23, and the Bears won the second 25-16. The Falcons would take the third set 25-18, before winning the match after a close fourth, ending 29-27.
The Bears came into the championship with an overall record of 33-3, and were the sixth-seed team of the C2 tournament. The Falcons had a 28-4 overall record and were the fourth-seed team.
