NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (KTIV) - While many people are excited for Thanksgiving, people at an event in South Dakota were looking farther ahead.
The Adams Homestead held its annual Christmas at the Homestead event on Saturday, Nov. 8 adding holiday magic to the historical attraction.
Adams Homestead is open year-round for people to come out and view historical buildings and enjoy nature, but this particular event gets people into the holiday spirit.
This year’s event had an early wintery surprise that Park Manager Jody Moats said adds to the magic.
“A little snow is not going to stop our Christmas at the Homestead. Actually, it’ll probably get people more into the holiday spirit,” Moats said. “This is an event where people can take a step back in time and get ready for the Christmas seas
