DALLAS — For the past four years, nonprofit Heroes Hearthstone and Back Mountain Brewing Company have collaborated on a special ale.
On Saturday, the tradition continued with the Colonial Ale Release Party.
The proceeds from this year’s fundraiser — and every fundraiser organized by Heroes Hearthstone — go toward programs and resources designed to help local veterans and first responders. The annual release party, hosted by Back Mountain Brewing Company, is scheduled to coincide with Veterans Day, which is observed on Nov. 11.
Rick Blaine, founder of Heroes Hearthstone, is an Army veteran. The collaboration with Back Mountain Brewing Company was a natural one, as its owners — Clay and Charity Cadwalader — were classmates of Rick’s at Lake Lehman High School. Clay Cadwalader is also an A
