MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man was arrested after a stabbing at a youth soccer tournament in Madera Saturday afternoon, the Madera Police Department announced.
Police say they responded to Sunrise Rotary Sports Complex for a report of a physical fight with multiple people at a soccer tournament.
During the fight, officers say one person sustained a non-life-threatening stab wound. With help from parents on scene, the suspect and weapon were found.
Police say the man was ultimately arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and child endangerment.
