SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A Northwest Iowa woman was taken into custody after eluding officers in Sioux City.
Thirty-four-year-old Sylvia Castillo was taken into custody on Friday, Nov. 8.
Castillo was driving a gray Saturn Ion on 11th St. in Sioux City at 9:23 p.m. Court documents say officers saw the car traveling at a moderate speed, heading east on 11th Street from the Floyd Blvd. intersection.
Documents say officers got behind the car, which reportedly disregarded lights and sirens, turning south onto Division Street.
The car was reported to authorities as an Attempt to Locate vehicle earlier in the day. Authorities say the car ran a red light at 5th Street and Pierce Street at 9:21 p.m.
