MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Two people are facing drug charges after attempting to hide drugs in front of a deputy on Friday, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Just after 10:30 p.m., a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office K9 Deputy conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation on Interstate 90/94/39 in the Town of Dekorra.
During the investigation, the passenger, 42-year-old Phillip Von Behren from Madison provided the deputy with a fake name while he attempted to hide drugs.
Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, LSD, Schedule II Narcotics, and drug paraphernalia were found during a vehicle search.
The driver was identified as Kaitlyn Goodell who was booked into the Columbia County Jail. The 33-year-old from Baraboo faces charges for possession with intent methamphetamine >50G, posse
