EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — UConn football fans can add to the list of the greatest games in program history, after the Huskies rallied past Duke in a 37-34 thriller Saturday.
UConn’s largest home crowd since 2013 created pandemonium all game, and fans rushed the field following the dramatic victory that the Huskies secured on a fumble recovery in the final seconds.
The back-and-forth offensive showdown between two elite quarterbacks lived up to the hype and more. For four quarters, UConn QB Joe Fagnano battled highly touted Duke QB Darian Mensah.

Both Fagnano and Mensah threw for three touchdowns. Fagnano’s 311 yards eclipsed Mensah’s 222 yards, but the game was decided on turnovers.
