The Seton Catholic Cougars went undefeated in October. They are now undefeated in November, too.
The Cougars scored touchdowns on their first two drives then hung on for their sixth straight win, a 21-7 victory over the Connell Eagles in a 1A state playoff preliminary game at Seton Catholic Field.
After Aqeel Bauman’s 33-yard touchdown run with 1:28 left in the first quarter put Seton up 14-0, the Cougars didn’t find the end zone again until the fourth quarter when Caleb Sullivan scored on a 37-yard run with 2:57 to play.
