GURGAON: A 17-year-old boy allegedly shot his schoolmate with his father’s licensed pistol in Gurgaon’s Sector 48 late on Friday night, leaving the victim critically injured. Police said the accused student and his friend, both minors, were arrested within hours of the incident. According to police, a call was received at the control room around midnight about a boy being shot in the Sector 48 area. When a team from Sadar police station reached the spot, they found that the injured teenager had already been taken to Medanta Hospital by his family.
