No. 11 Virginia (No. 14 in CFP) dropped a 16-0 stunner to Wake Forest on Saturday, Nov. 8, a game in which starting quarterback Chandler Morris was knocked from the game with a big hit. Elsewhere, No. 15 Louisville (No. 15 CFP) fell at home to California 20-26 in overtime. Those results made it increasingly likely that the Cavaliers and Cardinals' only entry to the playoff field may be by way of the ACC championship.
