Over the last 47 seasons — 1979-2025 — there were only five Oklahoma State head football coaches: Jimmy Johnson in 1979-83, Pat Jones in 1984-94, Bob Simmons in 1995-2000, Les Miles in 2001-04 and Mike Gundy in 2005-25.
