The Pittsburgh Steelers (2-6) and the LA Chargers (6-3) meet for Sunday Night Football at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC / Peacock). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's Steelers vs. Chargers odds and tab the 5 best prop bets to win among SportsbookWire's expert NFL picks and predictions for Week 11.
Whenever these teams get together, especially on Sunday night, who remembers the Devlin 'Duck' Hodges game? He came out of nowhere to start for the Steelers in a game Oct. 13, 2019, at Dignity Health Sport Mark on a Sunday night game, leading the Steelers to a stunning 24-17 as huge underdogs. Duck was in for the injured Ben Roethlisberger. Going down a bit of a rabbit hole, I saw Hodges also played in the CFL, and he married country music star Lainey Wilson, so he's still doing all right.
The Steelers won 27-20 against the Indianapolis Colts last week as a 3-point underdog at home, halting a 2-game losing and non-cover streak. The Under (52.5) cashed, as the defense stepped up after allowing 34.0 points per game (PPG) in the previous 2 outings. QB Aaron Rodgers threw for 203 yards and a TD, while RB Jaylen Warren rushed for 2 scores.
The Chargers escaped Nashville with a 27-20 win over Tennessee Titans last Sunday, but it missed covering as 10-point road favorites as the Over (44) hit for the fourth straight game. QB Justin Herbert shook off an early Pick-6, finishing 19-of-29 for 250 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT, while running for a team-best 57 yards and a score. The Bolts are just 1-5 ATS in the past 6 games.

Best Steelers at Chargers prop bets
Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:07 a.m. ET
Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers UNDER 224.5 PASSING YARDS (-115)
Rodgers will be looking to solve the Chargers pass defense which has allowed 1,744 yards, 6.4 yards per pass and only 8 TDs with 7 INTs. It's a tough matchup, and the Steelers are likely to lean heavily on the run.
While the Steelers are doing well enough, going 5-3 to this point, Rodgers has yet to throw for more than 250 yards. He has gone Under this target yardage in the past 2 games, and 5 of the past 7 outings.
Steelers RB Jaylen Warren ANYTIME TD SCORER (+120)
The passing defense of the Chargers is pretty intense, but the rushing defense is a little on the mediocre side. Expect Mike Tomlin and the Steelers to lean upon the run game, looking to bloody the nose of the West Coast Bolts.
The Chargers have have allowed 987 rushing yards, which is middle of the road, while giving up 10 rushing TDs. That's great news for Warren, who scored his first 2 rushing touchdowns of the season in Week 9 against the Colts.
SNF: Best ML, ATS and O/U bets
Chargers TE Oronde Gadsden II OVER 4.5 RECEPTIONS MADE (-118)Chargers TE Oronde Gadsden II OVER 52.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-110)
The former standout at Syracuse, and son of a former NFLer, has burst onto the scene for the Bolts. The fifth-round draft pick has 5 or more receptions in 5 of his 7 games, including each of his past 4 outings.
In addition, Gadsden is good for at least 68 receiving yards in each of the past 4 outings, too. We haven't done a double prop play on an individual player this season, so this is a rarity. In the 4-game span, Gadsden has 24 catches, 377 yards and 2 TDs on 27 targets.
The Steelers defense has allowed 50 receptions, 581 yards and 6 TDs to opposing tight ends on 69 targets, with 3 red-zone touches on 10 targets. Gadsden is going to see the ball funneled to him frequently, even with WRs Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey all healthy.
Chargers PK Cameron Dicker OVER 7.5 POINTS (-145)
Dicker went for 9 points last week in Tennessee, going 2-for-2 on field goals, including a 52-yard field goal, with 3 extra points. Dicker has managed 45 points, or 11.3 PPG, in the past 4 outings.
The Steelers defense is good, but not great. Still, in the red zone, it should be able to hold the Bolts to a few field-goal attempts rather than touchdowns in the red zone.
We love our kicking props, and this is a strong play on SNF.
