Two UK divisions of Viagogo have been hit with a £15m bill over a tax shortfall, according to reports. Two UK divisions of the ticket resale website Viagogo have been found to not have paid enough duty.

The Guardian reports VGL Services and IFOT Services, both part of the US-listed StubHub group that includes Viagogo, are implicated. Both have reportedly been caught up in a “transfer pricing inquiry with HMRC” relating to the period between 2016 and 2018.

The firms do not directly sell tickets themselves - but have supplied group companies, the newspaper reports. The Guardian stressed there is no suggestion the company deliberately sought to avoid or evade tax.
