That’s according to an update to City Council from Jennifer Hoffman, city and county manager, about the course at 1200 Clubhouse Drive in central Broomfield.

The reservoirs have been part of the Broomfield stormwater drainage system for about 40 years, said Julie Story, a Broomfield city spokesperson. The city is seeking to purchase in order to maintain the current configuration of the drainage system — the city is not pursuing water rights in order to irrigate the golf course, Hoffman said.
