A new typhoon in the Philippines has already killed two people and forced more than a million residents to evacuate.
Super Typhoon Fong-wong battered parts of the country today with the eastern Bicol region being the first to be directly hit on Sunday morning. Schools have been forced to cancel classes on Monday and nearly 300 flights have been cancelled.
The storm was upgraded to a super typhoon with sustained winds around 115mph and gusts of 143mph.
The Philippines' weather service, PAGASA, has warned there is a "high-risk of life-threatening and damaging storm surge with peak heights exceeding 3m [10ft]".
Known locally as 'Uwan', the storm is set to make landfall over the central or northern portion of Aurora, the weather service warned at 8pm local time.
