Heater urgently recalled as The Range and B&Q shoppers warned of 'fire risk'

An urgent product recall has been issued for a winter item as it poses a "risk of fire".

The Valiant Radiator Fan was sold via Amazon, eBay , Temu, B&Q, Debenhams, The Range and TikTok Shop.

"The product presents a risk of fire as the internal Li-ion Polymer battery may fail during charging or whilst in standby mode," officials from the Office for Product Safety and Standards stated on gov.uk.

They added: "If the product is charged or left unattended in standby mode, a fault may occur leading to thermal runaway and the product catching fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005."
