EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — There's going to be a rookie not able to play for the Browns against the New York Jets. It's a rookie they knew wasn't going to play before they even departed for the East Coast.
Wide receiver Isaiah Bond is the only one of the three Browns rookies who appeared with injury designations for the game who won't play. Cleveland had ruled him out due to a foot injury two days prior to the game.
What that does mean is that both tight end Harold Fannin Jr. and linebacker Carson Schwesinger will be active for the game. Both were listed as questionable coming into the game. Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
Schwesinger is the bigger of the two surprises, considering he's just two weeks removed from sustaining a high ankle sprain in the Week 8 loss at the New England Patriots.
