Penn State and Michigan State had their kickoff time for this year’s battle for the Land-Grant Trophy last week, as the Big Ten announced the game would start at 3:30 p.m. on either CBS or the Big Ten Network.
As of Sunday, the game will air for a national audience on CBS.
It’s a battle of teams on six-game losing streaks searching for their first Big Ten win in East Lansing.
Michigan State, under second-year head coach Jonathan Smith, is 3-6. The Spartans most recently lost a 23-20 nail-biter to Minnesota before a bye last weekend. Their last win came on Sept. 13 against Youngstown State.
Penn State fell to 3-6 Saturday with a crushing final-minute loss to No. 2 Indiana. The Nittany Lions’ last win also came on Sept. 13 against FCS Villanova.
