WOODBURN, Ore. — Three people were injured late Saturday night after an explosion at a motel in Woodburn, according to police.
Officers responded to a report of the explosion at the Woodburn Inn, located at 1025 North Pacific Highway, at around 10:42 p.m. on Nov. 8.
Police found a 25-year-old man outside one of the ground-level rooms with bleeding caused by flying glass and debris.
Inside the room, officers discovered a 33-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, both suffering from burns.
All three were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Officers evacuated the motel while securing the scene.
A bomb squad from the Oregon State Police searched the room but found no explosive devices. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the blast.
