FOREST GROVE Ore. (KPTV) - It was championship Saturday for the top high school volleyball teams in Oregon.
No. 3 Jesuit took home the 6A title at Joe Moran Court in Forest Grove, winning their third-consecutive crown with a full-set victory over top-seeded Sprague.
The Crusaders have now won an even 10 state volleyball championships - the most by any program in Oregon history.
Meanwhile, the 5A ranks saw a repeat champion as well, as top-seeded South Albany defeated No. 3 Bend in straight sets to go back-to-back.
The RedHawks lost just one match and six total sets all season, dominating the competition to defend their undefeated 2024 title - the first state championship for any sport in school history.
