Every Sunday before Veterans Day, Chuck Roberts and his wife offering visitors a glimpse into World War II history with a vast collection of memorabilia.
The Roberts Armory World War II Museum features an variety of World War II artifacts, including tanks, artillery, and war propaganda. It began with a single vehicle in 1978 and has grown significantly over the years.
"We started out with one vehicle and restoring it usually takes quite a job," Roberts said. "Then other ones we've gotten have had to have repairs and sometimes armor just doesn't work. We have to get the engines to work and also tires and other parts of the vehicle have to be repaired so that they still can operate. It took quite a while."
Roberts says a couple hundred people tend to visit the museum each year. The museum
