The New England Patriots are for real. The Pats won their seventh-straight game on Sunday in a Week 10 battle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Drake Maye and Co. went on the road to Tampa and won 28-23 against a tough Bucs opponent. Maye didn’t play mistake-free football, but he made enough big plays to put his team in position to win, including a 72-yard touchdown pass to rookie wideout Kyle Williams in the first quarter.
Taken together with Maye’s 58-yard dart to DeMario Douglas in Week 9, Maye became the first Patriots QB since Tom Brady in 2017 to throw a 50-yard completion in back-to-back games, per Patriots Communications .
Maye also connected with Mack Hollins on a 54-yard completion in the fourth quarter.
Maye was 16-for-31 on the day with 270 passing yards, two passing touchd
