Usually, Judy Owen never has a problem selecting a collection of words describing a written or spoken sporting scenario.

The former sports reporter for was selected to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 media wing earlier this year.

“I was shocked when Jeff Hamilton called me, almost speechless, which is unusual for me,” Owen told of the phone call she received from Hamilton back in late February, welcoming her into the legion of CFL writers forever enshrined.
