In an unexpected accident in Patna’s Danapur, five people lost their lives as the roof of their house gave way overnight. As per media reports, a family of five lost their lives after being trapped under the debris. The house, whose roof collapsed unexpectedly, was constructed under the Indira Awas Yojana. The sound of the collapsing house attracted a crowd of residents from around the neighbourhood. A rescue operation that was initiated after the incident soon pulled the family out of the debris and rubble that took their lives.

The roof collapse led to the death of three children

Those who died included 32-year-old Babul Khan and 30-year-old Roshan Khatun. The family also included their 10-year-old son Mohammed Chand, 12-year-old daughter Ruksaar, and 2-year-old youngest daughter Chand
