LANDOVER, Md. -- Penei Sewell went to the ground in the first quarter and needed help off the field.
It was one of those moments that Detroit Lions fans are far too familiar with over the last couple of years. But Sewell said he is all good and that it was one of those things that started badly but got better.
Sewell missed only six plays after heading into the blue medical tent. He was back on the field the next time the offense had the ball to open the second quarter.
“I don’t know if it’s just an offensive line thing or a universal thing, but it was one of those things that started painful and then died down,” Sewell said after the team beat the Washington Commanders.
