While the upper divisions in the CIF-SS high school football playoffs are usually stacked with talented teams, sometimes the lower divisions, like Divisions 12 and 13 which feature four of our area teams, can provide more of an accessible path to glory.

Yucca Valley, Coachella Valley, Desert Christian Academy and Desert Hot Springs, through the mathematics of quality of wins, quality of losses and strength of schedule find themselves in these lower divisions, filled with opportunity.
