Drones were spotted over a nuclear power plant in Belgium on Sunday, just days after a series of similar sightings in the NATO country.

The drones flew over the Doel nuclear power plant in Belgium around 10 p.m. Sunday, according to its operator Engie, which initially reported three of the devices had been spotted but later updated this figure to five.

The company said the incidents had no impact on the plant's operations.

As of Monday morning, no one had been blamed for the event. However, it comes after a string of drone sightings disrupted flights at Liège and Brussels airports last week. Drones were also spotted at a Belgian military base believed to host U.S. tactical nuclear weapons this month, the country's defense minister said.
