Agartala, 10 th November 2025: Amidst the crisis of gas, the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) has taken a move to provide uninterrupted power supply by introducing new technology at the Rukhia Power Plant, where bhumi pujan will take place on November 26.
This information was shared by Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath today.
The Minister informed that on November 26, bhumi pujan will take place at the Rukhia Power Plant for 120 megawatt power generation using Combined Cycle Gas Turbine technology.
He said that in 2017–2018, the actual capacity of the Rukhia Power Plant was 63 megawatt, but it used to generate 40 megawatt of power. In 2018–19 also, 40 megawatt of power was generated.
