BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) - A 63-year-old man from Ruso died in a rollover crash on ND Highway 53 between the evening of Nov. 8 and the morning of Nov. 9, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Authorities say the man was driving a 1999 Ford F-250 westbound near mile marker 47, west of Butte, when he lost control on the ice-covered roadway. The vehicle entered the south ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its driver’s side. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

Responding agencies included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, McLean County Sheriff’s Office, Velva Ambulance, and the Butte Fire Protection District.
