MUHLENBERG CO., Ky. (WFIE) - In Muhlenberg County, crews will begin working on a project to change the intersection of State Road 176 and the Merle Travis Highway.

Officials say KY 176 east of Ebenezer Road will be closed for the next month.

During the time of the closure, crews will be clearing debris and installing a new water line.

When the road opens next month, crews say it will remain open until phase two of the project.

Phase two is scheduled to start in the spring.
