Edmontonians can choose from several events to reflect on Remembrance Day this year. Here are a few happening across the city:
City hall Remembrance Day service : The city hall service will be held in the City Room, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Seating begins at 9:15 a.m. It will be led by the commanding officer of the Loyal Edmonton Regiment to remember the achievements and sacrifices of those who served our country in times of war and peace.
Light the City: On Monday, the High Level Bridge, Walterdale Bridge, city hall, Muttart Conservatory, Edmonton Tower and Rossdale Power Plant will all be lit red for Remembrance Day.
The Loyal Edmonton Regiment Military Museum: The museum, located in the Prince of Wales Armouries Heritage Centre, 10440 108 Ave., will be open from
