PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community awarded thousands of dollars to help struggling families get their feet on the ground — and that’s Something Good.

The community awarded $45,000 to the Family Promise of Greater Phoenix , a nonprofit organization that works to offer long-term solutions to families experiencing homelessness, through its 12% Gaming Grant program .
