Union Home Minister Amit Shah said all investigation agencies are exploring all possibilities and will conduct a thorough investigation into the Red Fort blast that killed at least eight people on Monday evening.
At least eight people were killed and several others injured after an explosion was reported near Red Fort on Monday evening around 6.50 pm. Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals. A high alert has been sounded across the Capital.
“The explosion took place in a car outside the Lal Quila (Red Fort) metro station. The nature of the blast is not known yet and forensic experts are collecting evidence from the site,” a senior police officer said.
