CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Police are investigating an alleged road rage incident that began in Akron and continued into Cuyahoga Falls , where shots were fired Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded around 4:45 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 1200 block of Main Street. Investigators said bullets struck two vehicles in the area, but no one was injured.
According to police, the incident started as a road rage altercation on Home Avenue in Akron before escalating as the vehicles entered Cuyahoga Falls. Detectives are reviewing video footage to identify the people involved.
Witnesses told police the suspect vehicle was a dark SUV driven by a male with a female passenger. You can watch body camera video of officers interviewing witnesses below.
