ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Asheville Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a man on Sunday.
Officers responded to an apartment complex on Granada Street in west Asheville to investigate a report of a gunshot wound victim around 4:58 p.m.
When officers arrived, they located a man with a gunshot wound under his left arm and began to render aid until the arrival of EMS. The victim was transported to Mission Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
